Go First Extends Suspension Of Flight Till May 26

New Delhi, 18th May 2023: On Wednesday (May 18), Go First cited operational concerns for extending the suspension of flight operations until May 26 and expressed optimism that it would soon be able to resume bookings.

As of May 3, Go First, which is going through insolvency resolution procedures, stopped flying. Additionally, the airline had been told to halt bookings until further directives by aviation regulator DGCA.

The airline announced on its website that flights until May 26th, 2023 are canceled due to operational concerns.

The company has applied for quick resolution and the revival of activities, as you are aware, and a complete refund will be delivered to the original form of payment shortly. Bookings will soon be available again,” it stated.

On May 10, the airline’s voluntary plea insolvency resolution proceedings were accepted by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). Abhilash Lal has been chosen to serve as the carrier’s Interim Resolution Professional (IRP).

A few lessors have also appealed the NCLT’s ruling to the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT).
