Pune,15th April 2023: In an effort to promote responsible pet ownership and reduce the number of street animals in the city, Pune-based NGO Animal Adoption & Rescue Team (AART) is organizing a pet adoption camp at The Orchid Hotel Pune Balewadi.
The adoption drive aims to encourage families to adopt street dogs and cats, providing them with a safe and loving home. With an increasing number of street animals facing harassment, poisoning, and overbreeding, the AART hopes to promote better living conditions for these free-living dogs and cats.
In addition to the moral imperative of giving animals a better life, adopting pets can bring significant health benefits and emotional support. The event will take place on Sunday, April 16, from 11 am to 4 pm, with foster registration beginning at 9 am.
