Ganesh Mandal From Pune’s Ambegaon Wins Third Prize In State Govt’s ‘Sarvajanik Ganeshotsava Mandal Competition’
Pune 12th Oct 2023: The state government has announced a list of ganesh Mandals that have won the prizes in this year’s ‘Sarvajanik Ganeshotsava Mandal Competition’. A ganesh mandal from Ambegaon in Manchar Taluka of Pune has managed to bag the third prize in the competition.
Shri Khadkeshwar Sarvajanik Ganeshotsava Mandal from Patur, Akola secured the first prize while Tiranga Ganeshotsava Mandal from Vita village of Khanapur, Sangli secured the second prize. All three winners of the competition will be rewarded with a cash prize in an event organised at Prabhadevi in Mumbai on Thursday by the hands of Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar.
The state government had earlier announced the competition and the ganesh Mandals from across the state were urged to take part. The ganesh mandal that won the first is rewarded with a cash prize of Rs 5 Lakh, second prize is Rs 2.5 lakh while the third prize is Rs 1 Lakh. The competition was organised by the state government along with P L Deshpande Maharashtra Kala Academy.
