Pune, 16th October 2026: The Pune district administration will hold special voter registration camps at all polling stations on October 17, 18, 24 and 25 to ensure that no eligible voter is left out of the electoral roll. Voters can check their names and details in the draft electoral roll and submit claims and objections by October 26, district election officer Jitendra Dudi said.

The district will deploy 21 electoral registration officers, 647 assistant electoral registration officers and 8,424 booth-level officers (BLOs) for the exercise. BLOs will be available at polling stations during the camps to assist citizens with new registrations, corrections and other electoral roll-related procedures.

Those whose names are missing from the draft roll or whose details require correction can submit the prescribed forms. Form 6 is for new voter registration, Form 7 for objections to entries or requests for deletion, and Form 8 for changes in residence, corrections to personal details, replacement of voter ID cards or registration as a person with a disability.

Eligible citizens can apply for voter registration throughout the year. For assistance or complaints, they can call the voter helpline at 1950 or approach the help desks at the district election officer’s office or the relevant electoral registration officer’s office. Details of district-level helplines are available on the Maharashtra chief electoral officer’s website.
