Pune, 13th June 2024: The investigation into Pune’s Kalyani Nagar Porsche incident is ongoing, with the minor accused’s mother, father, and grandfather currently in custody. Additionally, three employees of Sassoon Hospital are also in custody for swapping the blood sample of the minor accused to ensure no alcohol was found in his system. Former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has revealed shocking information indicating that there were efforts to show that alcohol was detected in the viscera report of those who died in the accident. He shared this information on X (formerly Twitter).

In this case, the minor’s blood sample was swapped with his mother’s blood and sent for testing. Once this information came to light, the investigation shifted focus. Dr. Ajay Taware, Dr. Shrihari Halnor, and peon Atul Ghatkamble from Sassoon Hospital, along with the minor accused’s mother, Shivani Agarwal, have been detained for tampering with the blood sample evidence. However, former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh alleges that there are efforts to prove that the young IT engineers who died in the accident were also drunk at the time of the incident.

Anil Deshmukh wrote on X, “In the Pune hit-and-run case, it has come to light that the minor accused’s blood sample was swapped to show that the minor was not drunk in the report. As a former home minister, I have information that in the deceased’s viscera report, there were full efforts to show they were alcohol positive. This was done to portray the deceased duo, who were on a motorcycle, as drunk and thus responsible for the accident, to prove this in court. Consequently, efforts are underway to ensure Vishal Agarwal’s son will be released.”

Deshmukh further wrote, “There are ongoing efforts to ensure the viscera report of the deceased shows alcohol positivity. I am confident that alcohol was introduced into their blood samples. Vishal Agarwal’s son’s blood samples were swapped. At that time, everyone knew there was administrative pressure. As that effort was unsuccessful, the state administration is trying to save Vishal Agarwal’s son; this is my open accusation.”

Lastly, he said, “If these efforts succeed, the accused will be set free, and the ones who are dead will be blamed.”
