Football: Sangam Y. B, Dynamites stay on course
Pune, 19th September 2024: Sangam Young Boys, Dynamites, New India Soccer and Bopodi LFA romped into the semifinals of the PDFA II Division League at the Ganga, recently.
Dynamites had to struggle with their encounter against Ram Sporting before winning 2-0. Rohan Mulay (19’) converted a penalty to give Dynamites the lead before Rohan Bhadange netted home the second in injury time.
Later, Sangam Young Boys beat Puneri Warriors 3-1. Anuj Sutar (10’), Aditya Lone (25’) gave Sangam a 2-0 lead. In the second half, it was Vipul Gophane (58’) who made it 3-0, and Vishal Magre (61’) pulling one back for Puneri Warriors.
In other matches, New India Soccer downed Valley Hunters 4-2 and Bopodi LFC got the better of PCH Lions 7-0 which had Raj Dharmadikari net two.
