Financial Scam Alert: Possible Unauthorized Loans Impacting Multiple Individuals via lendbox.in, Check Your CIBIL Scores Immediately

Pune, 29th December 2023: An alarming new wave of financial fraud has emerged, wreaking havoc on innocent individuals’ credit scores through lendbox.in TRANSACTREE, where scammers exploit personal data like Aadhar or PAN cards to obtain loans without authorization. This sophisticated deception involves the manipulation of the lending platform’s system, employing counterfeit email IDs and mobile numbers to secure loans in the names of unsuspecting victims.

In a recent distressing case from Patna, Bihar, a businesswoman was shocked to uncover a loan acquired in her name without her knowledge, inflicting significant damage on her credit score. Investigations unraveled a disturbing pattern: a loan of Rs 3000 obtained in August 2022 through lendbox.in, accumulating a staggering Rs 17,000 in interest. This deceitful activity inflicted a massive blow to the victim’s CIBIL score, plummeting it to a mere 600.

Attempts to rectify these unauthorized loans faced disheartening responses. Victims, such as Ram Naresh Sharma, found themselves entangled in the aftermath, despite confirming via email that the account wasn’t theirs. Deepan Siddhu expressed urgency, seeking resolution for an unapproved loan, yet encountering unresponsive customer care lines. Aftab Khan, among others, took to social media, expressing dismay at the fraudulent entries negatively impacting their CIBIL scores.

Do watch your CIBIL from time to time. I saw my mom’s CIBIL today, the CIBIL score is 650.

There is some consumer/personal loan of 8k which she didn’t take which is overdue for 200 days.

The CIBIL report has an additional address, mobile and email that she doesn’t hold.

The victims’ outcry on social platforms like Twitter further highlighted the severity and widespread nature of this alarming scam. Some victims, like Ram Naresh Sharma, confirmed via social media that the loan account was not related to them, yet it persisted on their credit reports, perplexingly affecting their credit scores.

One victim expressed shock and urgency, demanding an explanation and immediate correction measures for the erroneous entry impacting their credit report.

Victims are left grappling not only with compromised credit scores but also the daunting task of rectifying unauthorized loans’ repercussions. The callous response from lendbox.in TRANSACTREE further amplifies the need for immediate action to prevent further damage and restore victims’ financial identities.
