FDP on Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking inaugurated at AIT Pune

Pune, 4th December 2024: The AICTE ATAL Sponsored Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking was inaugurated on 2nd December 2024 by Major Gen. KK Chakrabarti, the Chairman of the Army Institute of Technology (AIT). The inauguration marked the beginning of a six-day program aimed at empowering faculty and participants with cutting-edge knowledge in the field of cybersecurity.
In his inaugural address, the Chairman provided valuable guidance and motivation to the participants, emphasizing various critical aspects of cybersecurity and its relevance in today’s digital landscape. He encouraged AIT’s continuous strides in this domain and highlighted the importance of preparing for emerging challenges.
Brig. Abhay Bhat, Director, AIT, addressed the gathering and shed light on the growing significance of cybersecurity, emerging job roles, and the contributions of AIT in fostering talent and innovation in this field. His words inspired participants to explore this dynamic area with a focused approach.
Col. MK Prasad, Joint Director, gave great administrative support for the smooth conduction of the inaugural ceremony. Dr. Sunil Dhore, Convenor of the FDP, presented an insightful overview of the program, outlining its objectives, sessions, and expert speakers.
The inaugural ceremony concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks by Dr. BP Patil, Principal AIT who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, and the organizing team for their efforts and support.
The program coordinators, Dr. Sagar Rane and Prof. Sita Yadav were appreciated for their remarkable efforts in securing a grant from AICTE ATAL and organizing this impactful FDP. The Chairman and Brig. Abhay Bhat congratulated both for their dedication and exceptional coordination.
The FDP will continue from 2nd to 7th December 2024, featuring sessions by distinguished industry experts and academicians aimed at enhancing knowledge, fostering innovation, and preparing participants to address real-world cybersecurity challenges.
