Exhibition of miniature working models of Trainsin Pune

Pune, November 1st: Railway enthusiast Suhas Dixit is back with his 50thexhibition of working miniature models of various trains that operates in India. This exhibition which will take place between November 4thand November 8thwill also display the miniature model of Japanese Bullet Train and a Documentary Film on Indian Railways.

A brain child of Suhas Dixit, this is the 20th year of this exhibition. The objective behind organizing this exhibition is basically to create awareness and generate interest about railways and their working in children. This show will begin from Friday, November 4thto Tuesday, November 8thbetween 5:00pm and 9:00pm at DikshitParamdham, 281, Narayan Peth, Kelkar Road. The duration of each show will be 15 minutes and entry fee of Rs. 30 per head.

This year the show will have working miniatures of the famous Deccan Queen as it celebrates its 86th anniversary. The exhibition will also feature a working miniature model of Hayabusa Shinkansen –the Fastest Bullet Train in Japan. Created in the proportion of 1:87 of the original train, this exhibition will also showcase a documentary film based on Indian Railways. The film will provide all the information about steam and electric railways, their working, tunnels, washing, siding, loco shed, chain pulling, whistle, driver and station master walkie-talkie conversations and many more to children and elders alike. This whole process of demonstration will go in sync with audio narration and sound effects of rail motion and showcases a grand experience altogether.
