The meeting was attended by Department of Industries Principal Secretary Venugopal Reddy, Chief Executive Officer of MIDC Dr P Anbalagan and Development Commissioner (Industries) Dr Harshdeep Kamble. Principal Secretary Bhushan Gagrani and Director of Health and Director of National Health Mission Anup Kumar and Director of Medical Education Tatarao Lai were also present.

The demands to be raised before the Central government were also discussed in the meeting. The state government will urge the Centre to take immediate decision on the need for banks to increase the credit limit so that small scale industries could pay their workers for at least two months. The state government should charge for the actual use of electricity and water. Also, MIDC should extend the development period for a minimum of three months free of charge. The strategic issues on all the above issues will be approved only after getting the consent of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Mr Desai said.
