Ex deputy sarpanch murdered in Bhivri village

Pune -A 35-year-old ex deputy sarpanch of Bhivri village, about 22 km from Pune, was killed by 10 persons over past enmity on Tuesday night. Pune rural police officials said that deceased Santosh Bhau Sadhu Dalvi was shot several times and then hit with stones.

Deceased’s father Sadhu Ananta Dalvi (60) has lodged an FIR against 10 persons with Saswad police station.

Police said that the accused persons killed Santosh around 9.30 pm in Bhivri village and injured his father with stones.

Police inspector M B Patil is further investigating the case.
