EPFO Regional Office Akurdi Pune-2 conducts successful outreach program for newly covered establishments

Pune, 27th April 2023: Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Regional Office Akurdi Pune-2 recently held an outreach program for the newly covered establishment and those covered under the EPF & MP Act, 1952. The program was conducted under the newly launched NIDHI AAPKE NIKAT 2.0 as a District Outreach Program on 27th April 2023 in the premises of M/s Mahindra & Mahindra, Chakan Plant, Pune.

The event aimed to provide information and solutions to PF subscribers, stakeholders, employers, and pensioners on various PF and Pension-related issues.

The outreach program included various procedures such as filling of ECR & DSC registration, updating of Form-5A, approval of KYC, filling of E-nomination, updating employer/contractor details on PE Portal, updating of Digital Life Certificate (DLC), and filing of online claims such as Form 10D, EDLI, Final Withdrawal, among others. The event also addressed other PF-related queries and issues that were raised during the program.
During the event, the queries and grievances of the pensioners, subscribers, and stakeholders were resolved on the spot. Any queries or grievances that needed further assistance or information from the concerned wing were registered and being resolved at the earliest. A total of 10 queries and grievances were received during the event, out of which 6 were resolved on the spot, and the rest 4 were registered for quick disposal.

Prabhakar Banasure, a member of the Central Board of Trustee EPFO, congratulated EPFO Akurdi for organizing such a program for quick redressal of grievances of PF subscribers. He appreciated the efforts of EPFO Akurdi in providing better services to PF Subscribers, stakeholders, and pensioners. As per Head Office New Delhi guidelines, an invitation was sent to Director ESIC Pune Zone to participate in this program so that the grievances of workers/beneficiaries can be redressed on the same day under one roof.

The event was organized under the guidance of K Ravindra Kumar, Regional PF Commissioner-I, followed by Manoj Mane, Regional PF Commissioner-II, Mahesh Ghale, Nodal Officer, Mohak Nikam, Enforcement Officer, Manoj Asrani, Enforcement Officer, Rajendra Banajwade, Account Officer (Pension), Rajnish Kumar, Section Supervisor, Akhory Sandip, Section Supervisor, Alok Kumar, Kumar Amit, Chandrashekar Azad, Ritesh Kumar, Hemraj Mehra, Sanket Nayadkar, Sunil Nerkar, and the team of PF officials of the Akurdi Office.

During the program, a special session was conducted by Rajendra Banajwade, Account Officer (Pension), regarding the Higher Wages Pension matter. He tried to clear the doubts, queries, and other issues related to higher wages pension. Furthermore, Vinod Verma, the Coordinator of the Federation of Chakan Industries Pune, and their members attended the program and congratulated EPFO Akurdi for organizing such a program for quick redressal of grievances of PF subscribers. They appreciated the efforts of EPFO Akurdi in providing better services to PF Subscribers, stakeholders, and pensioners.
