Drunk Caller Threatens To Blow Up Three Places In Pune And Ahmednagar, Arrested By Police

Pune 21st July 2023: The Pune City Police have arrested a person for threatening to blow up three places in Pune including National Defence Academy (NDA). The call received on Thursday evening sent the police officials on alert mode as they immediately swung into action and started taking precautions.

The police through technical analysis traced the accused identifed as Amol Mahadev Wagh (33) a resident of Uttamnagar, Pune and he was taken into custody. During the investigation, it was revealed that the accused had called the police under the influence of alcohol and threatened to blow up three places each in Pune and Ahmednagar.

It was also revealed that the accused had a dispute in his family after his father did not give him money when he sold the family property. Amol who works as a daily wage worked in Pune was arrested by police in the case. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
