Dr Deepak Shikarpur Felicitated with “Solapur Bhushan Lifetime Award”
24 DEC 2018 : Solapur Smart City Corporation recently felicitated personalities who studied in Solapur and have achieved professional excellence in IT and Academia, at Sumant Moolgaokar Auditorium in Pune, on 19th December 2018.
Dr Deepak Shikarpur was honored with the “Solapur Bhushan Lifetime Award” at the hands of Vijay Kumar Deshmukh, Maharashtra State Minister for Public Works (Public Undertakings), Transport Labour, and Textiles.
Dr. Shikarpur has studied in Haribhai Devkaran Prashala and Sangmeshwar College in Solapur, and is a Senior IT Entrepreneur, active in the IT field for the past 33 years, and also a writer and social worker.
Mr Mahesh Kothe Chairman, Solapur I.T. Park, Municipal Commissioner of Solapur Municipal Corporation IAS Dr Avinash Dhakane and eminent personalities from IT sector were present on this occasion.
