Domestic Flights FAQs released: Aarogya Setu app must, reach airport 2 hours before departure

New Delhi, May 21, 2020: Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said on Wednesday that some domestic flights will start from May 25. The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has also released the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for passengers and airport operators today. All the passengers except children up to 14 years will be required to download the Arogya Setu app. Must arrive at least 2 hours before flight time. Understand what AAI has said in SOP –

What arrangements will be made to reach the airport?
According to the Airport Authority of India, the state governments and administration have been asked to provide public transport and private taxis. So that passengers and airport staff can get connectivity. You can also go through personal vehicle.

How many people will be able to sit in one vehicle?
AAI has not stated this clearly, only said that people will be allowed to sit in fixed numbers. These rules will apply to airport staff and passengers.

How long before flight time?
It will be necessary to arrive at least two hours in advance. Only those passengers whose flight will be in the next four hours will get entry at the airport terminal.

What is required for protection?
All passengers will be required to wear masks and gloves.

If there is no green signal in the Arogya Setu app?
Everyone except children up to 14 years will have to download the Arogya Setu app. It will be checked at the entry gate. Those whose app will not have a green signal will not get an entry.

Where will thermal screening take place?
Before entering the airport terminal building one must pass through the screening zone at a designated place. Thermal screening stations are being prepared for this.

Will there be food and drink at the airport?
Food outlets will open with infection prevention measures. Passengers will be asked to pick up the parcel to avoid congestion. The emphasis will be on digital payment. Self-order booths will be built.

Will you get a trolley at the airport?
Trolleys will not be available in the Departure and Arrival area. Trolleys will be given on demand to passengers who need it. All trolleys will be sanitized.
