Diwali Cheer: Maharashtra State Government Clears Salaries for Educational Staff Before Diwali

Pune, 25th October 2024: All Zilla Parishad-recognized and aided educational institutions, agricultural universities, non-agricultural universities, and affiliated colleges in the state have been cleared for the payment of salaries to officers, employees, and retired employees before 25th October. As a result, officers and employees will receive their salaries before Diwali.

The Finance Department of the State Government published the Government Decision regarding this matter. The information pertains to data management hosted by Tata Communication in the context of computer systems such as Treasury Net, BEAMS, Bill Portal, Sevarth, GRAS, Pension Channel, Koshwahini, Arthavahini, Mahakosh, Payroll, and others run by the Directorate of Accounts and Treasury under the Finance Department. The transfer to technology is currently underway. This transfer process is complicated due to its technical nature. As an integral part of this process, all systems will be shut down during the last week of October. Therefore, payment of salaries and pensions for October has been approved before 25th October.

According to the Finance Department’s order, the Office of the Director of Accounts and Treasury of the State has been instructed to immediately issue necessary instructions to all District Treasury Offices and Sub-Treasury Offices for the payment of October salaries and pensions before 25th October.
