Dehu Road Youth Killed Over Romantic Relationship; Three Arrested by Pimpri-Chinchwad Police
Dehu Road, 20th September 2024: A young man was killed by the brother of a woman with whom he was romantically involved, along with his accomplices. The victim was forcibly thrown into a quarry, resulting in his death. This incident occurred very close to a Police Station under the Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate (PCPC).
The deceased has been identified as Ajay Jogindar Lukkad (age 21). The Dehu Road Police have arrested Kunal Chandu Sakat (age 18), Prem Sachin More (age 19), and Omkar, also known as Ganesh Ravindra Pawar.
According to information shared by Assistant Commissioner of Police (Dehu Road Division), Devidas Gheware, the police received information this morning about the body of a young man in a quarry at the foot of a hill behind the Try Jesus Church on the Katraj – Dehu Road Bypass Road, within the limits of the Dehu Road Police Station and very close to the Station.
Upon inspection, the police found Ajay Lukkad dead. Suspecting murder, they began investigating and quickly detained three suspects. Ajay had been in a relationship with the sister of the accused, Kunal Sakat. For this reason, Kunal, along with his two accomplices, lured Ajay near the quarry and pushed him in, leading to his death. The Dehu Road Police are investigating further.
