‘Deccan Reveries’: Pune Poets Come Up With Poetic Odyssey
Pune, February 10, 2021: An anthology titled “Deccan Reveries” written by various poets of Pune was released on the page of renowned poet and writer, Neelam Saxena. This is the second in the series, the first one being “Sahyadri Echoes”.
“Deccan Reveries” is curated by Neelam Saxena and edited by a team consisting of Tikam Shekhawat, Juhi Gupte and Simran Chandra. The cover page is a photo by Nikita Saxena and is designed by Rohan Tiwari. The publishers are AKS Publishing House and Jashn Events and Promoters. It consists of English as well as Hindi poems by some established and some budding poets from Pune.
Pune being the cultural capital of Maharashtra has an inherent talent and this was unleashed by the team of Publishers and its Editorial Board.
The event started with the host and CEO of Jashn Events and Promoters, Seema Saxena, asking questions to the panelists regarding the book, which was later followed by poetry recitation from Neelam, Tikam, Juhi and Dwarika Prasad Uniyal. Also present on the occasion was Shri Akshat Gupta, CEO of AKS Publishing House.
The event was well-received and had several viewers glued to the show.
