Cycle Track On Pashan Road To Be Built From NCL Gate To Pune University Gate

Pune, February 17, 2021: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC)  has decided to develop a cycle track from National Chemical Laboratory (NCL) to Savitribai Phule Pune University. The Standing Committee approved a budget of Rs 1.4 crore budget for the proposed track.

To get back the old identity of the city which was known as ‘Cycle city’, and to make the public transport better, PMC has decided to develop cycle tracks on various roads in the city. A provision has also been made in the budget regarding it.

The tender to develop the cycle track from NCL gate to University gate was given to M/s Radhalakshmi Construction. The total expenditure for developing the track is Rs Rs 1.4 crore. The proposal was taken up at the Standing Committee meeting on Tuesday.

“It was approved in the meeting”, said Standing Committee president Hemant Rasane.
