CUET PG 2024: 4.62 lakh students appeared for the CUET PG exam, answer key to be released soon
New Delhi, 30th March 2024: The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission to various PG programs in central private deemed and other participating universities was initiated in the year 2022. Since then, this exam has been conducted every year.
This year, the exam commenced on March 11, 2024, and lasted for approximately 15 days. A total of 4.62 lakh students participated in the CUET PG exam. This information was recently provided by M. Jagdish Kumar, the Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC). He mentioned that this exam has seen the highest participation of candidates so far.
The CUET PG exam, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), concluded on March 28, 2024. The exam was held on March 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 27, and 28, 2024, across 572 different centres in 262 cities across the country, including 9 cities outside India.
After the completion of the CUET PG exam, the provisional answer key and response sheet will soon be released by the NTA. Following this, candidates will be given the opportunity to raise objections by paying the prescribed fee within the specified period. Subsequently, the answer key will be examined by an expert panel. After the panel’s review, the final answer key will be released, followed by the announcement of the results. The results and answer key will be released on the official website and candidates can download them from the candidate portal.
