Kharadi, 5th August 2021: A criminal on the police record tried to kill a minor boy by stabbing him in the neck as he refused to bring a condom from the medical store.
The shocking incident took place at around 9 pm on Tuesday in the outside Professional Mobile Shop near Ashwini Hospital in Thite Vasti in Kharadi.
A 17-year-old boy from Tukaram Nagar has lodged a complaint at Chandan Nagar police station. A case of attempt to murder has been registered against Nilesh Waghmare (21), a resident of Thitevasti.
According to the police, the complainant had gone to Thite vasti area to meet his friend. Nilesh wanted to give money to him and asked him to bring a condom from the medical store. But the boy refused, following which Nilesh got angry and started abusing the boy.
“You don’t listen to my work. Wait, I will not leave you alive now”, saying this, the accused brought a knife from a Vada Pav hotel and attacked the boy on the neck.
Senior Police Inspector Sunil Jadhav said that a search is on for the accused in the case and he will be arrested soon.
