Coronavirus: 7717 new cases in Maharashtra today, 10,333 discharged

Mumbai, July 28, 2020: A total of 10,333 patients were discharged and 7717 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra while 2195 new cases were reported in Pune today. Today, 282 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 3.62%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 3,91,440 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

According to the health department, 2,32,277 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 3.62%. As of today, there are 1,44,694 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 59.34% while the fatality rate in the state is 3.62%. Currently, 8,85,545 people are in home quarantine and 42,733 people are in institutional quarantine.

 

Out of 19,68,559 laboratory samples, 3,91,440 have been tested positive (19.88%) for COVID-19 until today.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1,483,156 across the country. Out of this, 952,743 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 33,425 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 952,743 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
