Pune/Mulshi, 12th July 2024: A new controversy has emerged surrounding the family of IAS officer Puja Khedkar. A video showing Manorama Khedkar, Puja Khedkar’s mother, allegedly threatening farmers with a pistol in an attempt to ‘grab’ their land. The incident took place in Mulshi tehsil of Pune district, Maharashtra.

According to reports, Puja Khedkar’s father, Dilip Khedkar, a former government officer, amassed property worth crores during his tenure, including 25 acres of land in Mulshi tehsil. However, the Khedkar family allegedly sought to extend their holdings by forcibly taking land from neighboring farmers.

When the farmers resisted, Manorama Khedkar, accompanied by bouncers, reportedly confronted them with a pistol. This incident occurred two months ago, but local farmers claim their attempts to file a complaint at the local police station were thwarted due to undue pressure.

The video footage clearly shows Manorama Khedkar wielding a pistol while threatening the farmers. This revelation has further fueled the ongoing controversies surrounding IAS officer Puja Khedkar and her family, raising serious questions about abuse of power and influence.
