Container Overturns On Pune-Mumbai Expressway, Traffic Movement Affected
Pune 2nd August 2023: A container truck overturned on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway near Khandala tunnel causing disruption in the traffic movement for sometime. The incident took place at around 11:30 am on Wednesday.
According to officials, the traffic movement was affected for some time but the rescue teams were rushed to the spot and the tanker was removed from the road. The traffic movement was normalised later.
According to reports, the tanker was moving towards Mumbai from Pune due to which all three lanes on the Mumbai lane were blocked resulting disruption in the traffic movement. Two people sustained injuries in the incidents and they were rushed to hospital for treatment.
