Chandigarh: J.P. Nadda Meets Renowned Entrepreneur Dr. Sanjeev Juneja as part of “Sampark Se Samarthan” Campaign
Chandigarh, 17th June 2023: BJP National President J.P. Nadda embarked on a visit to Chandigarh, where he met renowned personalities as part of the “Sampark Se Samarthan” campaign. One of the notable figures he met was Dr. Sanjeev Juneja, an entrepreneur and founder of SBS Biotech II, Group of Companies.
The meeting took place at Dr. Juneja’s residence, where several dignitaries, including Saudan Singh (National Vice President), Anil Jain (Rajya Sabha MP), Arun Sood (State President), and Srinivasan (General Secretary), were also present.
Upon arrival, J.P. Nadda was warmly greeted by Dr. Sanjeev Juneja and his mother, Usha Juneja, who presented him with a bouquet of flowers. Radhika Cheema, Dr. Juneja’s sister, welcomed everyone by honoring them with shawls. The meeting provided an opportunity for Dr. Juneja to express his views on the Indian economy and the investment potential it holds. He highlighted the increasing interest of global investors in India, with foreign institutional investment amounting to Rs 28,000 crore in May 2023 alone. Dr. Juneja commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of achieving a $10 trillion GDP, stating that it is on track for realization even before the set deadline. He also acknowledged the positive response to initiatives like “Make in India” and “Vocal for Local,” which have fostered opportunities and growth.
Dr. Juneja shared his entrepreneurial journey, starting from a small village in Ambala to establishing a successful business that operates across India and internationally. He emphasized that such opportunities are only possible in a robust democratic country like India. J.P. Nadda commended Dr. Juneja as a first-generation entrepreneur and praised his accomplishments, highlighting the importance of honest and hardworking businessmen in the nation’s progress. The discussion also touched upon the development projects undertaken by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during its successful nine-year tenure, including the role of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) as a model for other states. J.P. Nadda explained that the aim of meeting distinguished personalities like Dr. Juneja is to raise awareness about the BJP’s achievements and initiatives.
During the meeting, Dr. Juneja shared that his company’s products are used by approximately 15 lakh families every month. He openly commended various policies of the Government of India, particularly the unprecedented collection of GST. J.P. Nadda also engaged in a conversation with Dr. Juneja’s children, Divita and Divam Juneja, discussing the importance of digital India. Divita and Divam, who will be eligible to vote in the Lok Sabha elections for the first time in 2024, expressed their pleasure in meeting J.P. Nadda.
Dr. Sanjeev Juneja is widely recognized as a business tycoon and investor, earning the reputation of a “Brand Machine.” His contributions to the Indian FMCG industry include establishing well-known Ayurvedic brands such as Dr. Ortho, Pet Saffa, Roop Mantra, and Sachi Saheli. Beyond his entrepreneurial endeavors, Dr. Juneja is also a motivational speaker and has delivered lectures at prestigious institutes such as IIM Ahmedabad and the Indian School of Business. He has been instrumental in promoting the modern form of Ayurveda and actively supports campaigns like “Vocal for Local” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat.”
