Central Board of Secondary Education Regional Office, Pune Undertakes ‘Ek Tarikh Ek Ghanta Ek Sath’ Cleanliness Drive

The event took place at Bhivaji Ravji Galande Udyan in Vadgaon Sheri, Pune.

 

The initiative kicked off with a vibrant rally led by 50 officers and officials from the CBSE Regional Office, who marched from the office to Bhivaji Ravji Galande Udyan. Along the way, they used banners, logos, and raised slogans to spread general awareness about the event and the significance of cleanliness among the public.

 

Exemplifying the spirit of Swachhata Hi Seva, all officers and officials enthusiastically joined hands to clean various areas of Bhivaji Raoji Galande Garden. Open gyms, walkways, playgrounds, and other spaces within the garden received a thorough cleaning, ensuring a cleaner and more inviting environment for everyone. Weeds were also diligently removed from the garden’s walkways.

 

Importantly, the CBSE officers and officials took this opportunity to engage with the citizens present in the park, educating them about the importance of cleanliness and requesting their support in maintaining a clean environment in their surrounding areas. The citizens responded positively and appreciated the efforts of the CBSE team.
