CDK Global India celebrated the joy of togetherness with its 3rd edition of BANDHAN 2018
~ US headquartered CDK Global completed three years of its operations in India ~
Pune, 24th March, 2018: CDK Global India – the largest global provider of integrated information technology and digital marketing solutions to the automotive retail industry and OEMs, celebrated its 3rd Family Day at Laxmi Lawns, Magarpatta at Pune. This year’s event, christened BANDHAN 2018,saw participation of over 1,400 CDK employees along with their family members coming together as one big family. The event was aimed at celebrating the contributions of all the employees and the extended families towards the success and growth of CDK Global (India).
The evening commenced with a scrumptious Hi Tea and a carnival filled with a lot of fun-filled interactivities like magic show, puppet show and games for all age groups. Chaitanya Rathi, the Emcee, opened the celebrations with some CDK trivia. The event started with a welcome performance called “Gajanana” by CDK dance troupe along with theme dance on “Bahubali” and a special “Expressionless Dance” performance by the managers of Pune to captivate the audience. The CDK employees and family members took the stage with extravagant dance and musical performances on popular Bollywood numbers including ‘Swag se Swagat’, ‘Ghoomar’ to name a few. The celebrations also included a special ‘Mime act’ performance by the talented kids from CDK supported NGO – Rainbow Homes.
CDK Unplugged, the in-house band also shone the spotlight by creating an upbeat atmosphere and kept the mood alive by the CDK band performance on retro music like ‘Ajeeb Dastan’, ‘Yeh Sham Mastani’ & ‘Gulabi Aankhein’ and latest hits like ‘Kabira’. Additionally a rocking musical act was presented by talented band Bollywood Balconywhich mesmerized the audience with a high dose of electrifying music.
While addressing the employees and family members Mr. Reddy Malledi, Managing Director, CDK Global India said, “Bandhan is an opportunity to celebrate the contributions that each employee of CDK has made towards the success of the organization since we started operations 3 years back in India. We are grateful to the employees and their families, who have helped to build a pronounced culture at CDK and contributed to make it a great place to work and nurture the talent. Over the last three years we have moved from a pure offshore entity to partnership with business units and we are now a significant part of the global community. I am sure that we will continue to get support from everyone and take the organization to the highest level of strategic importance to our parent company.”
During the event, CDK (Global) India employees were recognized for their efforts & contribution by presenting awards including Dronacharya, You Make A Difference, SPARK, Silent STARS and other prestigious recognitions. In the last part of the celebrations, VJ Madhu opened the dance floor with all-time favorite songs, which made the audience groove to the tunes. The event came to a close with a gala dinner.
