CBSE Alerts Students to Beware of False Updates on Sample Papers and Syllabus

New Delhi, 11th June 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a cautionary advisory to students regarding the dissemination of misleading information related to sample question papers, syllabus, and CBSE resources. The board has observed the spread of outdated links and fake news by various online portals and websites, prompting CBSE to issue a stern warning against falling prey to such misinformation.

In its advisory, CBSE stated, “It has come to our notice that some online portals and websites are circulating old links and unverified news related to sample question papers, syllabus, and CBSE resources and activities. These links and news falsely claim to provide updated information for the session 2024-25. We would like to emphasize that information obtained from unauthorized sources may be misleading and may create unnecessary confusion among schools, students, parents, and other stakeholders.”

CBSE has urged students to rely solely on the official website for authentic information and updates pertaining to CBSE. The primary official website of the board is cbse.gov.in. Additionally, information concerning CBSE academic and skill education can be accessed through cbseacademic.nic.in, while results can be checked at results.cbse.nic.in. For the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), candidates should refer to ctet.nic.in

The Integrated e-Affiliation System can be accessed through saras.cbse.gov.in/SARAS, and examination-related activities can be found at parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in/ps/.
