BYD to Launch Stylish and Feature-Packed Electric Car “Seal” in India
India, 16th February 2024: In a move set to electrify the Indian automotive market, BYD Company is gearing up to introduce its latest electric car, the BYD Seal. With its sleek design and robust features, the BYD Seal promises to make waves upon its launch in India.
Expected to hit the Indian roads on March 5, 2024, the BYD Seal is generating considerable excitement among car enthusiasts and environmentally conscious consumers alike. While the official pricing details are yet to be announced by BYD, media reports suggest that the car could be priced around ₹60 lakh ex-showroom.
The BYD Seal boasts a striking exterior design, featuring crystal LED headlights, LED DRLs, and LED taillights. Under the hood, the BYD Seal offers two battery variants from BYD, including a 61.4 kWh battery providing a range of up to 550 kilometres on a single charge, and an 82.5 kWh battery offering a range of up to 700 kilometres.

Alongside the advanced infotainment system and panoramic sunroof, drivers can enjoy safety features such as Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, and adaptive cruise control.
