Burundi based NGO Pax Fondation visits D.Y Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune
Pune 26 August 2019 : Burundi based NGO Pax Fondation visited D.Y Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune to observe educational & healthcare services offered by D.Y Patil Vidyapeeth. Delegation from Burundi was headed by Mr Reverian Ndikuriyo, President of the Pax Fondation & Speaker – Senate of Burundi, Mrs. Stella Budiriganya, Ambasador of Burundi in India, Mrs Christine Ndayishimiye, Vice President of Pax Fondation & Mrs Louis Mbonimpa.
Pax Fondation Burundi is engaged in welfare activities for the masses and have done many projects for common people such as clean water services, agricultural projects, educational & sports activities along with health awareness in Burundi. With this visit Delegation wanted to learn about educational and healthcare services offered by Dr. D.Y.Patil Vidyapeeth Pune.
Dr.P. D. Patil, Chancellor, Dr.D.Y.Patil Vidyapeeth Pune said that “We are happy to have Pax Fondation which has been striving for the welfare of people of Burundi . We are privileged to host the delegation led by Mr Ndikuriyo and Ambassador Mrs Stella Budiriganya. We believe and practice integrative medicine hence have Allopathic, Ayurvedic, Dental, physiotherapy and Homeopathy hospitals with state of the art infrastructure”

This visit will enable students and patients from Burundi to travel to Pune and will add to credentials of Pune towards becoming a global city!
