Pune, 17th March 2025: PM Shah Foundation and Vardhaman Pratishthan jointly organized a talk show featuring Dr Sabiha Inamdar, a renowned relationship and emotional wellness coach, ICF-certified life coach, and NLP practitioner. This session was held on Saturday, 15th March 2025 at NFDC, Law College Road, Pune.

In his introductory speech, Adv. Chetan Gandhi, Director of P.M. Shah Foundation, emphasized, “After the age of 40, a woman’s sex life is not just about physical aspects but also about mental and emotional fulfillment. This phase can lead to a more enriched sexual experience, making this delicate yet significant discussion crucial.”

Dr. Sabiha delivered a strong, sensitive and extremely crucial perspective that highlighted a progressive view of sex as a language of expression beyond mere physicality. Her thoughts aligned with the idea that living area conflict can affect bedroom intimacy, hence communication in relationships, not just in verbal form but also through actions, body language, and emotional understanding is a key to healthy love life. She said that like love, sex is an emotion and an extension of connection.

Women, especially in their 40s often experience guilt and a victim mindset that often leads to self body shaming. She shared that it is often imaginary imposed by cultural or personal insecurities and at times affects the ability to enjoy intimacy. She enlightened that some women also face sex phobia due to past traumatic experience or societal conditioning. She opined that value systems plays an important role in drawing boundaries when it comes to intimacy. Different cultures and beliefs shape perceptions and what is considered ‘acceptable’ in relationships. Ultimately, mutual consent and understanding are essential in fostering a fulfilling connection.

The lecture received an enthusiastic response from women, who not only actively participated but also appreciated Dr. Sabiha’s engaging and lighthearted approach to the discussion.
