Bomb Threat On Delhi-Pune Flight, Passengers Deboarded At Delhi Airport

Pune 18th August 2023: A panic spread among the passengers on Delhi-Pune Vistara flight after they were all deboarded along with their luggage at the Delhi Airport. This came after a call regarding a bomb on the flight was received by the GMR call center earlier today.

The officials are conducting the inspection of of the aircraft in the isolation bay in the airport premises. More details are awaited.

According to officials, the flight was scheduled to depart from Delhi Airport for Pune at 8:30 am and the threat call was received at 7:30 am. The officials from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and other agencies conducted a thorough inspection of the aircraft after it was parked in the isolation bay. However, nothing suspicious was found in the aircraft.

Around over 100 passengers were scheduled to take the flight and it will take off after clearance from the security agencies according to the standard procedure followed in such cases.
