BNY Mellon won two Gold Medals for Football

Pune, April 24, 2018: Dassault Systèmes won the overall championship


by scoring 600 points in the Corporate Carnival held in the city. In this three-week long series, tournaments like Football, Tennis, Box Cricket, Table Tennis, Badminton, Carrom, Chess, Singing were organized where more than 100 corporate companies participated.

In the cut throat competition second to lead is BNY Mellon with 590 points. Accenture secured third position with 520 pointsat the third edition of the carnival. The carnival is organized on weekends beginning from April 6 to April 22. The Corporate Carnival is organized by Fair Sense Sports Management and Twiddle Designography.

BNY Mellon defeated All State Solutions in both the Football 7s and 5s category with 2-0 and 5-2 scores respectively and took home two Gold Medals for Football.

The prize distribution ceremony was organized on the last day of the carnival where marked dignitaries like Bhupendra Rajput and Shashank Mohol, PNB Housing Finance, Hitesh Shelar, Kolte Patil Developers, Amol Late, Hyundai were present and honored the winners with the awards.

In Football 7s category, Deutsche Bank beat Enpro Industries, 2-0 and bagged third position. In another match under the category Football 5s Amura Marketing Technologies took past Dassault Systèmes, 5-3 and secured third position.

In the Box Cricket match Emerson won against Deutsche Bank by 4 wickets and obtained first position. Adient India won against Acceltree by 10 runs and came third. The scores for the day were Deutsche Bank, 28 All out. Emerson, 29/1 in 4.2 overs. Adient India, 57/5 and Acceltree, 47 All out.

In Tennis for Men’s Singles category Vivek Khadge, Schlumberger took past Deepak Patil, XTaas Corporation, 6-4 and attained first position. Sunil Lulla, Sq Ft. Interiors beat Chanabassavakumar, Cognizant, 6-3 and received third position.

In the Men’s Doubles for Tennis Vivek Khadge, Schlumberger and Sunil Lulla, Sq Ft Interiors beat Shivashish Behera and Mahesh Sinare, 6-1, 5-7, 10-3. Alok Gupta, All State Solutions and Chanabassavakumar, Cognizant won against Sumit and Animesh Das, 6-2 and took third place.
