Bhosari Police Nab Roommate Assailant in Assault Case Stemming from Village Visit Dispute

Bhosari, 17th May 2024: A person was attacked by his roommate because he refused to return to his native village. The victim sustained severe injuries from a sharp cutter during the assault. This incident occurred on Wednesday, May 15th, at 10:00 PM at Shastri Chowk in Bhosari.

Babasaheb, also known as Chotu Pandurang Sagar (23 years old, resident of Shastri Chowk; native of Solapur), filed a complaint at Bhosari Police Station. Deepak Ashok Kamble (32 years old, resident of Shastri Chowk, Bhosari) has been arrested by Bhosari Police in connection with the incident.

According to police reports, the complainant, Sagar, and the accused, Kamble, both work and reside together. Sagar, who works in catering, had not visited his native village for several days, which led to an argument with Kamble. The argument escalated into a physical altercation, during which the accused attacked Sagar with a sharp cutter, resulting in injuries to his neck and chest.

Bhosari Police have registered a case against the accused under IPC Section 307 (attempt to murder). Police Sub-Inspector Shaikh from Bhosari Police Station is conducting further investigations into this matter.
