Bank of Maharashtra celebrates Mahachaitanya Divas
Pune, February 12, 2018: Bank of Maharashtra, one of the prominent public sector banks in Maharashtra celebrated its 83rd Business Commencement Day as ‘Mahachaitanya Divas’ on February 08, 2018. To mark the occasion a cultural evening was organized by the city based staff of the Bank in Pune.
In an inspiring address to the employees, Shri R.P. Marathe, MD & CEO of the Bank said, “The Indian growth story is unfolding and the banking industry is undergoing a massive transformation. It is imperative that Bank of Maharashtra also becomes a part of this growth story and to achieve this, each employee will have to rededicate himself/ herself to speedy survival of the bank. For the purpose, he reiterated Bank’s strategy to adopt and implement the seven commandments handed out to every staff member in the form of Survival Kit.
He further added that several initiatives were launched with a focus to improve businesses in retail, agriculture and the SME sector. He expressed confidence that with continuous hard work, sincerity and dedication by employees, Bank of Maharashtra will eventually turn around and will be able to march ahead with high growth, profitability and high asset Quality.
