7th December 2023: Bajaj has made a grand reentry into the Indian market by launching three top-notch and luxurious electric scooters under the Chetak series. Priced at an attractive Rs 1,15,000, these scooters promise an impressive range and battery performance, accompanied by unique features. Renowned for frequently introducing new bikes and scooters, Bajaj has upped the ante with the latest Chetak, offering four captivating color variants, each adorned with a spectacular and distinctive look.

Setting the Chetak apart from the crowd, Bajaj has incorporated a range of features, including a reverse option and fast charging capability. The company’s commitment to enhancing the riding experience is evident in the meticulous attention given to both aesthetics and functionality.

In terms of pricing, the Bajaj Chetak Urban (2024) comes in three models: Tech Pack, Standard, and Premium. The Tech Pack is priced at Rs 1,21,001 lakh, the Standard at Rs 1,15,001 (ex-showroom), and the Premium at an attractive Rs 1,15,000 (ex-showroom). For those considering financing options, Bajaj offers a low EMI option over 36 months, requiring a monthly installment of Rs 3,612, with a 9.7% interest rate, resulting in a total loan cost of Rs 1,12,873.

The Chetak’s battery, boasting a 5-hour charging time, ensures a comfortable range of 113 km on a single charge. The scooter achieves a top speed of 73 km, providing a balance between performance and efficiency. Bajaj’s commitment to innovation is further exemplified by the diverse features embedded in the Chetak, including a colorful LCD, eco mode, sport mode, geo-location mode, scooter reverse option, off-board charger, speedometer, battery charge percentage, tail headlight, and a key fob with a unique locating feature.
