B & R Unveils Ambitious Business Plan for India
Pune – The global market leader in automation sector B & R unveiled its ambitious business plans for India on Friday. The company said it aims to double its business volume within three years even as Pune forms the centre of the company’s strategy.
Speaking at the occasion of Innovation Day 2018 held in city, Jhankar Dutta, Managing Director, B & R said, “Our goal is to make B & R most customer friendly company in India. Our business goal is to double the business volume in three years.”
Emphasizing on company’s expansion plans, Dutta said, “We are building a new office in Pune with an area of 16000 sq. ft. The new building will have state of the art training facility. We are creating space for additional manpower in future.”
In addition to enhancing customer service capabilities, the company is looking to increase its strength also. “B & R India plans to invest heavily on manpower. We are launching a world-class customer support initiative with dedicated hotline.
B&R, the market leader in industrial automation, also presented athbreaking technologies during the Innovation Day 2018, the fourth edition of B&R’s flagship annual event. The conference aimed at bringing together over 200 guests from factory operators, machine builders and industry experts to deliberate on innovations for manufacturing and industrial know-how.
The unveiling took place at a gala ceremony in Pune. Innovation Day is a platform for launching innovative solutions in India. This helps machine builders to cost-effectively adopt new technologies, be globally competent and ready for the future. The theme of Innovation Day 2018 is “Automate • IIoTize • Deliver”. The innovations launched during the event includes ACOPOStrak, Machine vision, Orange Box and Open communication standards. Those attending the event got a chance to witness focused presentations and live demos, innovative automation solutions for smart machines and successful Industrial IoT& Industry 4.0 implementation.
