Pune, 12th August 2024: German luxury carmaker Audi is set to launch the facelifted version of its flagship SUV, the Q8, in India on August 22. The company has released a teaser of the upcoming model on social media, providing a glimpse of its refreshed exterior design.

The 15-second teaser showcases the Q8’s new front grille, LED headlights, and taillights, hinting at a sharper and more aggressive look. While the company has not revealed details about the interior, it is expected to receive minor updates, including features like heated seats, head-up display, and a four-zone climate control system.

Under the hood, Audi is likely to retain the existing 3.0-litre V6 engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. This powertrain produces 340 horsepower and 500 Newton-meters of torque and is expected to be mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

The Audi Q8 facelift is expected to be priced slightly higher than the current model, which is available in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 1.07 crore (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will compete with rivals such as the Mercedes-Benz GLE and BMW X5.
