Art admirers to get a chance to see some of the best works in pottery
Pune, September 2, 2019 : Pottery- one of the oldest and most prevalent of the decorative arts will catch Punekars’ fancy this weekend as all art enthusiasts in the city will get an opportunity to watch some of the best works in pottery at a unique festival called ‘Pune Potters’ Market 2019’.
This mega initiative of pottery is being organized by IGA Galleria and will be held on September 6th, 7th & 8th at Phoenix Market City on Nagar Road and on September 13th, 14th & 15th at the Pavilion Mall on Senapati Bapat Road. The timing of this pottery festival at both the venues would be from 11:00am to 9:00 pm on all days.
This festival will have a lot to offer to all those who are interested in learning pottery, probably the oldest invention of mankind. Experts’ workshops are also planned during this festival.
This unique pottery fest will not only help introduce the culture of pottery to the city of Pune but will also make an attempt create a platform and opportunity for potters to showcase their works to connoisseurs of art. Some of the most acclaimed names from the world of pottery including Ruby Jhunjhunwala, Shalan Dere, Sandeep Manchekar, Khanjan Dalal, Gauri Gandhi and Shayonti Salvi will take part in this thrilling art extravaganza and display their varied creations to the audiences.
