Army Aviation Corps Celebrates 38th Raising Day

Pune, 2nd November 2023: On the occasion of 38th Raising Day of the Corps on 01 November 2023, Lieutenant General Ajai Kumar Singh, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command complimented all ranks of Army Aviation Corps for living up to their motto of ‘Swift and Sure’ and urged them to continue with the same gusto and spirit.

Army Aviation Corps has evolved into a decisive third dimensional manoeuvre arm, rendering a definite combat edge to the field force commanders. The arm has grown exponentially and is now set to play a pivotal role in all modern battlefield scenarios. It has also been in the forefront providing succor to the common man during times of natural calamities.

The Corps has witnessed qualitative as well as quantitative growth in the last 37 years of its raising and has earned abundant accolades for its performance in all spheres of Indian Armed Forces functioning.
