This feature works for several iCloud sharing options, including iCloud Shared Photo Library, iCloud Drive Shared Folder, and Shared Notes. The update ensures that shared content among participants is protected by advanced encryption, enhancing overall data security.

To download the latest update, users should go to their phone settings, tap on General, and then Software Update to check for the new version. Only eligible iPhones and iPads will receive the iOS 17.6.1 and iPadOS 17.6.1 updates.
