Air India: 30,000 People Fly From Pune Everyday
Pune, 9th February 2023: Air travel is a subject of curiosity in many people’s lives. The first flight is also an integral part of middle-class life. As there are domestic flights as well as international flights from Pune Airport, it has been reported that 30,000 Punekars are traveling by air every day.
There are 180 to 186 flights from Lohegaon International Airport every day. The airport administration is also making moves to start air services at some other places shortly. On 5th February, 15,077 passengers arrived in the city on 94 flights, while 15,017 passengers on 94 flights left Pune for travel outside the city. A total of 30,004 people traveled by air in 186 planes.
The work of the new terminal built next to the Pune airport is in the final stage, and it is also being demanded that the work should be completed as soon as possible and the new terminal should be started for the service of the passengers.
Following passenger demand, the Pune Airport Authority has launched two new flights to Hubli in Karnataka. These flights will be operated twice a week on Saturday and Sunday. This service is being provided by Indigo Airlines.
