“Aho Vikramaarka”: Marathi Cinema’s First Pan-India Blockbuster Set for August 30 Release

Pune, 21st August 2024: Marathi cinema is about to witness a historic moment with the release of its first pan-India blockbuster, “Aho Vikramaarka,” on August 30. The film, which boasts a budget of over ₹50 crore, marks a significant milestone as the largest Marathi movie ever made. The story revolves around a heroic and determined police officer, with Dev Gill playing the lead role. Gill, originally from Pune, expressed his pride in contributing to his Marathi motherland, despite his prominence in South Indian cinema.
The film features a stellar cast, including prominent Marathi actors Sayaji Shinde, Pravin Tarde, and Tejasvini Pandit. Directed by Peta Trikoti, known for his work alongside Rajamouli in “Baahubali” series and his recent Mega Hit “RRR”, the movie promises exceptional direction and extraordinary editing.
