Ahead Of PM Modi’s Visit To Pune, Security Tightened At Municipal Corporation Office

Pune, 3rd March 2022: After the attack on BJP leader Kirit Somaiya in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) main building, the security was exposed.

 

After that, before the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Municipal Commissioner has issued orders to tighten the security arrangements in the main building. In order to control the crowd in the main building, no one should be allowed to enter the Municipal Corporation without a gate pass, no agitation can take place in the premises, and other instructions have been issued by the Municipal Secretary to issue identity cards to the corporators and former corporators.

 

Although there is a security system at every entrance of Pune Municipal Corporation. Kirit Somaiya was pushed while entering the main building. The action was then taken against the security guards who were on duty.

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit Pune Municipal Corporation to unveil the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj memorial. Therefore, while the security arrangements in the vicinity of the main building are being tightened, Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar issued an order yesterday.

 

Such are the orders

– No agitation or demonstration will be allowed in the premises of PMC

– No one will get admission without permission of the concerned department while on leave.

– If there is a political event on a holiday, it is necessary to give advance notice to the administration.

– Identity card is mandatory for PMC employees and officers.

– Identity cards should be given to corporators, former corporators, sanctioned members by the Municipal Secretary’s Department

– Citizens coming for work in the main building will have to show their identity card. They should be recorded on arrival and departure

– Gate pass has to be prepared while entering the Municipal Corporation. It should be signed by the concerned authorities after completion of the work

– The head of the department should take immediate action against the security guard who wastes his work.
