Aditi Dora and Kaustubh Zanvar triumph at Architectural Competition

Pune, 1 August  2017: Aditi Dora and Kaustubh Zanvar emerged victorious at the regional round of National Architecture competition hosted by  Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture (BNCA) .

 

On the occasion, regional round awards were given by The Council of Architecture (COA). Out of 91 participants, Aditi Dora (Surat) and Kaustubh Zanvar (Pune) emerged triumphant.

 

Aditi Dora presented a project for the rehabilitation of people from the flood affected Dhanushkodi village named as forgotten water, while Kaustubh Zanvar presented a project on beautification of Art Institutes and religious places in Nashik. Both will be competing in COA’s final round  at New Delhi on 7th September. Aditi Dora is a student of Sarvajanik College of Engineering and technology, while Kaustubh is a student of PVP College of Architecture, Pune.

 

The exhibition of the projects made by the students was also organized at  BNCA premises and inaugurated at the hands of Senior Architect from Pune, Rajeev Raje. The price distribution ceremony was conducted in the presence of Jayant Inamdar, President, Local Administrative Department, Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha, Dr. Anurag Kashyap, Principal, BNCA, Dr. Shubhada Kamlapurkar, Head of Educational Department, Prof. Jayshree Deshpande, Head, Architecture Educational Council. Architect B. S. Bhushan, Shrinivas Murti, Niraj Gupta were present as examiners. The competition was judged by Indranil Gupta. Prof. Vaishali Angal and Prof. Mahesh Bangad organized the event.
