Accused in NCP Leader Mehboob Pansare’s Murder Arrested From Pune
Pune 11th July 2023: The Crime Branch Unit of Pune City Police has arrested a person from Wagholi in connection with NCP leader Mehboob Pansare’s Murder. The accused identifed as Datta Malekar, a resident of Guruwar Peth area was arrested on Tuesday.
Senior leader of NCP Mehboob Pansare who also served at the corporator of Jejuri Municipal Council was brutally murdered over a land dispute in Jejuri. A case in this regard has been already registered at Jejuri Police Station of Pune rural.
The Pune City Police had received an input about the presence of one of the accused in Wagholi. Accordingly, the crime branch unit laid a trap and the accused was arrested. He has been handed over to Jejuri Police for further investigation in the case, said police.
