When Shete inquired at the Nasrapur post office, he was not given satisfactory answers by the postmaster here. Postman Digambar Ingle admitted the mistake. Shete’s letter was posted on July 31. He was expected to receive it on August 4.

The letter was received on time and it has got a Nasrapur post office stamp with the date August 4. However, it was not delivered to the recipient the same day.

Nasrapur Post Master Vijaya Sable said that Shete’s letter had been diverted due to similar names. Shete’s complaint has been sent to the seniors and they will take an appropriate decision after a proper inquiry.
