High-Speed Railway Between Pune-Nashik

Pune: 18, 2021: After the permission was sought from Maharail and Revenue department, the survey for high-speed railway between Pune Nashik was done on Tuesday. The survey was done at Varulvadi, Narayangaon.

The villagers from varulvadi, narayangaon, Hivre, Vadgaon Kandali, Nagadwadi, Bhatkalwadi, Aale, Kolewadi already have given their lands for various projects that have come up in the vicinity including the GMRT.

Majority of them have small piece of land and there is no other source of income for them. Thus, in the first phase they had opposed the railway project. However, after various rounds of discussion they allowed for the survey.
