Pune, 18th August 2021: The urban poor health scheme in ten hospitals in the city has been closed, which includes large hospitals in various parts of the city.

According to the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), both the central government’s ‘Mahatma Phule Jan Arogya Yojana’ and the PMC’s ‘Urban Poor Health Scheme’ are in duplication. Many citizens are taking advantage of both schemes. This causes financial loss to the corporation.
