Pune: Vimantal Police Arrest Four Nepali Citizens In Theft Cases, Recover Stolen Valuables Worth Rs 6 Lakh

Viman Nagar, 4th August 2021: The officials from Vimantal police station under Pune City Police have arrested four Nepali citizens and solved two theft cases.

 

The arrested accused have been identified as Nayansingh Khadkhasingh Dholi (40), Ganga Mane Damay (24), Bhim Deepak Thapa (19) and Mahendra Deepak Nepali (19), all natives of Nepal, who currently resided in Nigdi.

According to police, an FIR was registered by Dattaram Desai, store manager at Sky One Corporate Park, stating that copper strip and copper earthing wire worth Rs three lakh was stolen from the store on Airport Road. The incident took place between July 19-20.

 

Investigating officers and their team conducted a thorough investigation and received convincing information that the crime was committed by youth from Nepal. Accordingly, the accused persons were arrested on July 29 and recovered the stolen materials worth Rs three lakh as well as a tempo which was used in the crime. The cops also solved another case in which the accused had stolen valuable things from a woman near Neco Garden.

The action was taken under the guidance of DCP (Zone 4) Pankaj Deshmukh, ACP (Yerwada division) Kishore Jadhav and Senior Police Inspector Bharat Jadhav.

 

The team included Police Inspector (Crime) Mangesh Jagtap, Inspector of Police, Crime, Airport Police Station Under the guidance of Pune, Investigating Officer Sachin Jadhav and his team Avinash Shewale, Umesh Dhende, Ramesh vestigated and uncovered a total of 02 crimes committed by the youth of Nepal.
